New technology allows people to extract memories and implant those of others. For thief Jay, this luxury has little appeal beyond the money stolen memories fetch on the black market. During a break-in at a memory shop, she discovers a memory that feels strangely familiar. Do her fellow gang members, Marcy and Fynn, know something she does not?

This science-fiction thriller gave me room to combine deep, roaring synthesizers and rumbling textures with the intimacy of solo strings and voices. Beneath its cold, technology-driven world, the story is about human connection. The score moves between those two perspectives.
