Thirty years ago, Sven was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Since then, he has been living in complete isolation in his parents' attic. He also isolates himself from family life. Over the years, his family has come to terms with this situation. Only Sven's sister Holle has never really been able to accept her brother's condition. When their mother unexpectedly has to go to the hospital, Holle is increasingly confronted with her brother's problems.
