Dance on Three Legs

Newly arrived in a retirement home, 82-year-old Helga refuses to settle in. When fellow resident Rose, 80, invites her to rehearse a dance for the summer party, Helga initially resists. Rose’s persistence gradually draws her out. But on the day of the party, Rose unexpectedly dies. A conversation with nurse Xavier reveals that Rose never had the son she often spoke about, forcing Helga to confront both Rose’s loneliness and her own.
